Dear Donna, Peter and family...The memories of your Mom and beautiful Dad on Sheafe Street are so many that I feel we were "family" for sure. GOD bless Gabe and the love he gave to all of us while he and my dad painted daily...I so remember wiping the sweat of their foreheads as I never liked it when they worked soooo hard in the heat painting..I am so sad for you as I know the bond you shared as we did with our dad...but at last they are up in Heaven painting their way to happiness and not suffering anymore...Also sorry I did not know of his passing until today..for sure I would of been at yesterdays service. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. God bless...

Peter and Donna:
So sorry for your loss. My fondest memory of growing up on Sheafe Street was "gabe the painter" smoking his cigar in front of his house. I will light one up for Gabe. Sheafe Street has lost a legend. My prayers are with you and your family.

To the Virgilio Family - I'm sorry for the tremendous loss you suffered, my heart goes out to you. May you find some solace in the fact that your father can truly rest peacefully knowing his children, whom he raised and worked so hard to give good lives to, will carry on his legacy by being the intelligent, strong spirited, sophisticated, and hard-working heirs that they always are (along with the rest of the family). Though he appears gone, the only place he's gone to is Heaven/your hearts and memories; he'll live on with and through you. You'll never really be without him, since that's heaven to a family man like Gabe. In the times I spoke to him, it was obvious how much his family meant to him and how proud he was of his strong son and dedicated daughter, the apple of his eye. He didn't need to pursue frivolous fame, excessive fortune, or political power... he knew he already made greater contributions to this world than any of that through his children. May he rest in peace.
