Cha Giang (Father Anthony) will be truly missed. He has helped so many people in his life, including my family. I wouldn’t be where I am today, if it wasn’t for him. He will always be remembered...

I was an altar boy for Father Anthony back in '88-'89 at St. Patrick's. I remember how I used to be a few minutes late to Mass, and Father Anthony would just softly implore me to try to come a little earlier. It's not like I expected Father Anthony to do it, but he never scolded me or raised his voice. I was the one holding him up, preventing him from celebrating Mass on time. Yet he still forgave. Not once, not twice. But many times over.

Looking back now, I can see how kind, loving, and patient Father Anthony was to me. And I'm more than sure that he's like that to everyone that's blessed enough to have known him.

I will dearly miss Father Anthony. May God reward him abundantly in Heaven.

I remember Fr. Anthony fondly. He became my family's Spiritual Father 24 years ago, in Indonesia. My family will miss his presence on an annual basis because we will no longer be able to receive him into our humble home for his one-week vacationing. I was with him on August 27, in Boston, to hear his very soft whisper for the very last time. I asked him what was his favorite dish prepared by my mother Vui, he said "thit da cay." (a special Vietnamese meat imitation dish--somewhat difficult to explain online).
All I can say is that the Lord gives us angels in our lives to remind us of God's goodness. I am thankful for his life and legacy-and feel honored that in His providence, we crossed paths. I am so proud that I know someone who has touched many lives including mine. Praise the Lord forever!

Father Anthony was my family priest, we we on the same boat to America. He is a blessling from God, he did the mass for my
wedding on 8/23/2008 in Garden Grove, California. He is such a humble priest and caring. You can tell that he is a saint and that
he live not for him self but for others.

It was Father Anthony who guided me to the path of believing in God. Father Anthony (Cha Giang) is extremely humble, selfless, and enthusiastic in helping the Vietnamese and Cambodian communities survive when they are here without their families, their homeland. What unsual and phenomenal about Cha Giang is he gave 100 percent of his belief, his life, his energy to God and to the Vietnamese/Cambodian communities without wanting any thing back. Cha Giang will be missed very much. We know he has the express ticket to Heaven. Thank you very much Cha Giang for everything you have done for us. My deepest sympathies to the Lowell, Chelsea, Haverhill, his family, and other communities and lives that he touched.
"O God,
The Creator and Redeemer
Of all the Faithful,
Grant to the Souls
Of Thy Servants departed
The remission of all their sins;
That through pious supplications
They may obtain the pardon
Which they have always desired
Who lives and reignest
World without end. Amen.

My deepest sympathies to the parish of St. Patrick and to Fr. Anthony's fellow priests and his family. He was filled with the Holy Spirit and was a blessing to all. I will miss seeing him at Mass. He is in the arms of Our Lord.

My sympathy is with all of Fr. Anthony's family. I worked with him at the Julie Asian Center in Lowell when he first came to the United States. He was a wonderful, holy man and will be greatly missed.
