I am one of many Professor Sinskey´s PhD students. He made his lab our home! The first time I met him, he said "Young lady, you are too skinny, have another slice of pizza." He was always kind, caring, and compassionate about the stress I felt as a graduate student, always willing to listen and figure out how he can help. He held high standards, but always explained why and gave me the support I need to meet those expectations. He made sure I traveled internationally to share my research findings, explored career options beyond bench side science, had a life aside from working in the lab. I owe him my career and the wonderful life I am able to build in Boston. I will miss him dearly!
