Of Charlestown, Feb. 11, in his 1OOth year. Beloved son of the late Timothy and Mary (Anderson) McCarthy. Devoted brother of Mary G. McCarthy of Charlestown and the late Daniel F. and Leo C. McCarthy. Visiting hour in the John H. Sawyer Funeral Home, 329 Bunker Hill St., CHARLESTOWN, Saturday, Feb. 16, 9:30-1O:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Francis de Sales Church at 11 o'clock. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Late Veteran WW II, US Navy. Past president of the former Charlestown Cooperative Bank. Member of Old Charlestown Schoolboys Assoc. Parking area opposite Funeral Home.
