Sandra ,,,Was very sorry to hear about Arthur. My mom called me about it. He was always one of the gang of friends on Jefferson Street especially at the park, street hockey, and all the stuff we used to do around the old neighborhood. I remember playing monopoly in the side yard of your house for 6 hours ,,and losing with our friends there...and hitting the warren pals bakery for some hot bread.

My sympathies to all of the family.

"REMEMBER WHEN"
Remember when Arthur use to pinch your cheeks, he'd grab ya with one hand and would bite down on his other hand. Then he would say "I love to pinch ya cheeks, I love to pinch ya cheeks"

Death, be not proud

Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be,
Much pleasure; then from thee much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and soul's delivery.
Thou art slave to fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell,
And poppy or charms can make us sleep as well
And better than thy stroke; why swell'st thou then?
One short sleep past, we wake eternally
And death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die.

"REMEMBER WHEN"
Remember when Arthur took the zamboni from Gore St rink and drove to Burger King drive thru for lunch!
True story.....one of many!!!!

Arthur loved to laugh. His laugh was contageous. I will miss laughing with him. The Arthur I knew and will remember loved his Aunts cooking and enjoyed a good meal. Arthur was not a cheap man he'd give you his last nickle. Arthur loved to look good. He always had nice looking shoes or sneakers and back in the day he would cut off the collar on his shirts so they hung properly on his shoulders just like he wanted them to and he'd make headbands out of towels.
With his good looks and the way only he could walk, He made it work and he knew it.
He loved children and would celebrate them and smile at them.
His heart ached over the loss of his mother which he never got over.
He taught me many things I will never forget like to appreciate old Mowtown like Marvin Gaye and The Temptations. When he heard a song he liked he'd snap his fingers and do his version of a dance to it with a smile.
He loved the summer, the beach and getting the sun. He loved a good smoke with a nice cup of coffee.
People say he looked like Pacino but he was one of a kind.
I am sorry you had to struggle and suffer in this lifetime as you did Arthur, but your light did shine and I will always remember how much your presence contributed to my world. I love you.

I remember Arthur as a little Boy with the outfit that his Mother made for him for the Don Juan's Drum Corp. His Black pants and Sombrero with tassels made quite a picture as he chased after his Sister,Sandra. He was never better than when he was young and he brought lots of smiles and laughter to all his Cousins,Aunts and Uncles and friends. We will remember him in his Youth because then he was always happy. We are saddened to hear of his passing but We know that he is in good hands with his Mother and Father who loved him so,so much...as we all did..Goodbye Cousin Arthur, the King of Warren Street..Love,Cousin John and Auntie Cay and Jared Carvello.

I am deeply sorry for your loss as Arther was part of the Warren St group that often played cards and chased each other till the wee hours of the morning. The memories I have of those times and Arthur still make me smile 30 plus yrs later. May he Rest in peace.
