ARVIDA J. SHILO

SHILO, Arvida J. (Benson) Of Wrentham. Loving wife of the late Stanley Shilo, mother, grandmother, retired nurse, volunteer, died peacefully July 14 at Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a brief illness. Arvida was born in Boston to the late Olaf W. and Ethel R. (Johnson) Benson. After marriage, she moved to Wrentham where she raised her family and lived for fifty seven years. Her favorite pastimes included shows, concerts, dancing, gardening and entertaining family and friends. Arvida enjoyed giving back to her community and for the past thirteen years was a devoted volunteer in activities at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, and volunteered at the Wrentham Food Bank and Wrentham Historical Society. She is survived by her daughters Heather Shilo and her partner Terese Phillips of Cambridge, Heidi (Shilo) Tibert and her husband Scott of Hubbardston, Diane Shilo of Attleboro and three grandchildren, Erica and Nick Tibert and Robert Shilo.
