Dr. Krause was my both my wife's and my PCP for 40 years at Pastor Medical Group in Brookline. She was not only a great doctor but she was a great listener, intelligent, compassionate, caring, practical, responsive, and professional. Barbara was the best doctor I ever had and I remember her with great respect and admiration and she will be missed. My wife passed away the week after Dr. Krause passed and then the Pandemic hit so I am quite late in posting this tribute. My sincere condolences to Barbara's family and I hope they are doing better.

Dr. K who told me to call her Barbara, was my primary care doctor for 28 years. She was the kindest doctor around. She listened with compassion and empathy and was always spot on with her diagnoses. I just found out today of her passing-I am heartbroken. She and I had our children around the same time and would always catch up on how they were doing. She was always so proud of Her kids. Rest In Peace dear Barbara. You’re one of a kind.

Apologies for the late note, but I just learned of Dr. Krause's passing. I was one of her patients, and I owe so much to her. She was spot on with all her diagnoses, and she made referrals to only the best doctors. As other have said, she was so easy to talk to, and she always put me at east. I enjoyed hearing her on WBUR after she left her practice in Brookline too. My condolences to her family.

Dr. Krause was my beloved primary care physician for over 20 years in Boston. I was so sad when she moved to the Vineyard because I knew I would never have the same kind of connection with another physician. She was always respectful, understanding and caring and saw me through some tough times. This is devastating news, my heartfelt condolences to her family.

There are so many of her patients on Martha's Vineyard who respected and liked Dr. Krause. I speak for them I know by saying how much she will be missed. Not only as a professional, but as a kind hearted soul with a lovely sense of humor. A truly special person!! So sorry to the family.

To the family and friends of Dr. Krause, our most sincere condolences. My daughter Sheri and wife Margery, had periodically seen Dr.Krause in Brookline, and they were always saying how kind and empathetic she was.
I didn't have the pleasure of meeting the doctor, however, she was there when anyone needed her attention, and my wife and daughter were very fond of Dr. Krause. Rest in peace Dr. Krause.

Dear Glenn-to you and your family, we send our condolences. Barbara was the most gifted, kind, and supportive doctor we could have had for 24 years while she was at Pastor. We loved her honesty and caring attention. She was always available for us. We started missing her before you moved to MV. We hope your grieving will be gentle to you.

Dear Glenn, Glenn Jr., Ian and Kira,
I am just heartbroken for you all. Barbara and your family were so kind and loving to me and my children over the years. She was a true friend and mentor - helping me through so many hard times, sharing her knowledge, her experience, her sense of humor, her generous heart and many home-cooked meals. I am thinking of you all at this very difficult time and sending heartfelt condolences your way.
With much love,
Natalie
