LEITH, Barbara Jane (Roberts) Barbara Jane Leith (Roberts) died on October 22, 2021 at her home in Manhattan, Riley County, Kansas after a long illness. She was the daughter of Elma (Shannonhouse) and Ernest M. Roberts of Lincoln, NH, born in Philidelphia, PA on July 11, 1934. She lived with her parents in China prior to 1941, then in Boenis Aires, Argentina during WWII. She graduated from Wellesley College in June 1956 with a major in English. On Sept. 16, 1957, she married David E. Leith, MD in Laoonia, NH. She was an accomplished artist and writer. She and her family lived in Wayland, MA for many years. She was an active member of the Wayland league of Women Voters there. She is survived by her husband; 3 sons Eric W. (Lynn) of Litchfield, NH; Matthew M. of manhattan, KS; and Christopher G. of Los Gatos, CA; 6 grandchildren; and several cousins. Burial will be in the Greeley Township Cemetery, Mt. Hope, KS. No memorial Service is planned. Arrangements are in the care of the Anderes-PTfeifley Funeral Home RILEY, KS.
