BARBARA OATWAY Obituary

OATWAY, Barbara M. Longtime Nurse at area Hospitals and Nursing Homes. Age 92, died on April 4, 2023, at Hope Hospice House in Bonita Springs, FL. Born in Everett to the late Earl and Jenny Wolfe, she lived in Wakefield for 24 years. Subsequently, she lived in Haverhill, Georgetown, Hopkinton and Estero, FL. Mrs. Oatway was a nurse in hospitals and nursing homes on the north shore before retiring after which she enjoyed spending time with family, volunteering and traveling. Beloved wife of the late Richard A. Oatway of Roslindale; she leaves daughters, Diane McGrew of Hopkinton, MA, Karen LeBlanc and husband, Stephen LeBlanc of Estero FL; sisters Janis Piazza of Everett, MA, Linda Pendleton of Hartford, VT; four grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visiting Hours: A private Graveside Service will be held at Harmony Cemetery in Georgetown. Memorials may be made to Hope Hospice at Hope Development Department, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
