RUTLEDGE, Barbara J. (Canavan) Age 100, of Somerville formerly of Dorchester and Watertown, October 13, 2013. Born in Glann, Oughterard, County Galway, Ireland. Beloved wife of the late James Rutledge. Loving mother of Barbara and her husband Peter Doherty of Arlington, James and his wife Maureen Rutledge of Abington, Kathleen and her husband Richard Donovan of Dedham. Devoted grandmother of Tim and Brendan Doherty, Kevin and Bryan Rutledge, Kara Ruddy, Meaghan Krohe and Joseph Donovan. Also survived by 8 loving great grandchildren. Visiting hours in the John J. O'Connor & Son Funeral Home, 740 Adams St. (near Gallivan Blvd.) DORCHESTER, Thursday 4 to 8pm. Funeral Mass in St. Ann's Church, Neponset, Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Remembrances may be made in memory of Barbara to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Ave., Somerville, MA 02143 for their constant loving care or the Medical Missionaries of Mary, 179 Highland Ave., Somerville, MA 02143.
