BARRY J. McGEE

McGEE, Barry J. Died peacefully on August 3, 2021 with his family by his side. Barry was born in Sydney, Australia and came to live in the States when he was a young boy. He was raised in Brighton where he met his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Kathleen Bridget (Cuddy) McGee. He was an avid griller, music lover and sports fan. He especially loved his fantasy football, and was known for his quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor. Barry spent many wonderful years in Arizona where he built a beautiful home that he considered his palace. Devoted father of Christine McGee Roberts and her husband Chris Roberts of Truro, Kerry McGee and her fiancé David Walker of East Longmeadow. Loving grandfather of Cole Roberts. Brother of James McGee and his wife Diane of Glendale, AZ. Brother-in-law of Elinor Haskins and the late Barbara Cuddy. Nephew of Paul McGee and his late wife Jane of Plymouth. Uncle of Danny Cuddy, Joseph Haskins, Lorraine Ericson and Heather McGee. Also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Visiting Hours Sunday, August 8th from 3-5pm at the Lehman, Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave. (nr. Brighton Courthouse), BRIGHTON. Funeral Mass at St. Ignatius Church, 28 Commonwealth Ave., Chestnut Hill, Monday, August 9th at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment private.
