BENJAMIN KEENE Obituary

KEENE, Benjamin A. Age 92, "Benji," of Dover, MA, passed away on June 6, 2025. He was the loving husband to the late Diane V. Keene. Father to Barry Keene and wife Jeanette, Robert Keene and late wife Kathleen, Laurie Woodward and husband Donald and Beth Luttazi and husband Paul. Grandfather to Jake, Nicala, Keith, Kara, Leanne, Seth, Christina, Douglas, John, Martin, Maeve, Derek and the late Dylan Benjamin Keene. Great-grandfather to Amelia who brought a lifetime of joy to him even only sharing 9 months together. He loved life and lived it to its fullest. Self-made man who mastered everything he did, a very accomplished home builder and old school mechanic. He forgot more than most mechanics knew. He was a tall man who had the respect of everyone that knew him. He will be remembered most for his willingness to teach all that he knew to anyone that wanted to learn. His legacy will live on in those he mentored and especially through his children and grandchildren. No one worked harder and gave more, especially of his time, the most precious gift one can give. He will be laid to rest at Holy Hood Cemetery, Brookline, MA, alongside his wife in a private ceremony.

Hello all Keene Family, I just happened to see your Dad's notice.
He was a wonderful person from every angle.
You were all lucky to have him and your Mom as parents.

I am living in Colorado now 7 years and lost touch with Massachusetts.

Don't despair, he had a good life and you shared in it.
