Bernard J. Blaney

Of Buzzards Bay, formerly of Holliston, Jan. 15th at home in Buzzards Bay at age 72. Husband of Claire Curran Blaney (Varnerin) of Buzzards Bay and the late Christina MacDougall Blaney. Father of Michael & Sonja Blaney of Sudbury, Patrick & Denise Blaney of Holliston, Daniel & Mary Blaney of Holliston, Kevin & Karen Blaney of Vernon, CT and Christine & Richard Dalton of Needham. Step-father of Brian & Kim Curran of Bridgewater, Kevin & Maureen Curran of Hanson, Haley & Steve Gabourel of Buzzards Bay and the late John Curran Jr. Brother of Margaret Moccia of Holliston. Also survived by eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visiting hours will be at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 Gen. MacArthur Blvd., (Rt 28), BOURNE, MA on Monday from 2-4 PM and from 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret's Church, Buzzards Bay on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the V.A. National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
