Of Vero Beach FL, formerly of Weston, Dec. 18. Beloved husband of Patricia (Whittner) Rothwell and the late Beverly A. (Berger) Rothwell. Devoted father of Bernard J. Rothwell III of Norfolk, Brian G. Rothwell of Weston, Bonnie R. Walsh of Duxbury, Brenda R. Prescott of Medfield, and Barbara R. Hogan of Dover. Brother of Joan Rothwell Moor of Cambridge and Boca Raton, FL. Also survived by 26 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Stepfather of Kathleen Norris of Plymouth, NH, Patricia Brockman of Cincinnati, OH, Kristin Shannon of Glastonbury, UK, Jeannette Gibbons of Reading, PA, and Ann Norris of Orlando, FL. Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Rte 16) WELLESLEY Monday at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Wellesley Hills at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Sunday 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bernard's memory to the Trinitas Foundation, 100 Congress St., 2nd Floor, Quincy, MA 02169. Late graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School Class of 1955. World War II Veteran U.S. Army. Late President and Chairman of Baystate Milling Co of Quincy, a regional food business.
