Grandmother of Tristan Smittner. Sister of Lorraine Travers of Cambridge. Also survived by her loving dog, "Coco." A graveside service will be held at the Woodbrook Cemetery, 100 Salem St., Woburn, on Friday, Aug. 19 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Beverly was a dear friend of mine, and I think of her often, especially in the fall when she and I would go on our yearly weekend to Maine. She always made me laugh, and she had a heart of gold. I know her family misses her too, and she will forever be in their hearts.

One memory I have of my wonderful aunt was when I had my appendix taken out at age eight. She became my private nurse and I was very greatful to have her with me at Symmes Hospital. Thanks Aunt Beverly!
