My heart was deeply saddened when I read the news today of Brian's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family as I know you all meant a lot to Brian. Through my conversations with him over the years, he spoke highly of you all. Although I never got the opportunity to skate with Brian, we would compare war stories from the league he played in to the league I played in. The next game I play on Friday the 24th, I will play it in memory of my friend Brian. I hope to see Brian again when I see him at the Pearly Gates, skates on ready to play. I will miss Brian.
God Bless,
Tim

God gives each of us a candle when we are born. Some are given long ones, others medium and a few very short. It isn't the length of the candle that means as much as the flame that glows from it.
Col (ret.) Caputo's candle glowed very brightly.
My sincere condolences to the Caputo family. I always enjoyed his visits to the Family Support Center at Hanscom AFB. He had a wonderful sense of humor and he always had a great story to tell.

To all of Brian's family. I was stunned when Dr. John Meade,D.M.D. told me of Brian passing away. We both skated with Brian in Quincy He was a great guy!! He was the only guy I knew who could skate perfectly on his ankles. Brian attended my son's wake in Billerica, for which I will always be amazed and grateful. I will miss Brian very much. Brian was fun to be around. I remember Brian telling me stories(when we were having breakfast after Hockey) when he was helping with the New Orleans storm. I will always remember that and always remember Brian giving his all when playing hockey with the Bald Eagles at QYA. I will miss Brian and very glad I was able to know Brian and have great conversations with him. He served his Country well. All The Best to Brian's family. Sincerely, Mark Selbert

My heart goes out to Brian's family. He was a great guy who I really respected and looked up too. I met him playing tag football in 1994. He was amazing, he was so competitive and never stopped playing till we all gave it up in 2012. He was the oldest player in 1994 and the oldest when we all gave it up in 2012. I loved talking to him, about life, work, sports, politics, anything. Down at the field he was well liked and respected by everyone. He was one of best people I've known and will really miss him, like everyone else that was lucky enough to meet him.
