I had the great professional and personal privilege of working with and knowing Brian at the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency over 20 years ago and thereafter. He was everything a public servant is supposed to be: intelligent, honest, hard working and courageously committed to doing the right thing, no matter the cost. As a friend he was loyal and, with his quick mind and great wit, a charming companion. Because of his qualities he touched countless people in a positive way who may never know all that he did in his public service. But those who were fortunate to experience him personally will never forget him. Rest in peace, my friend; yours was a life well lived.

To Brian Delorey Family and Friends: While at the BRA, I had the pleasure to work alongside Brian on several projects. Brian appreciated the people around him. Brian possessed a logical mind on what the various projects needed to be done for development. Brian was intense, and always had your back. The BRA and the City of Boston was fortunate to have such a dedicated man and public servant. RIP Brian
