BRIAN MCALDUFF Obituary

McALDUFF, Brian D. A lifelong Lexington resident, October 26, 2021. Brian was a member of the LHS Class of 1977. He loved his hometown, especially its rich history and the April 19th parade. He was a self-employed landscaper and handyman in Lexington, especially in the Peacock Farm section of town, and often in his own childhood neighborhood in East Lexington as well. His love of everything having to do with astronomy, music and numbers kept him busy in his spare time and he truly enjoyed watching, as well as listening to, all his Boston sports teams. He also enjoyed his Dunkin Donuts friends and coffee. Above all he loved his family and they loved him. Brian was truly one of a kind and we will miss him dearly. Brian passed away peacefully after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was the beloved son of the late Eileen and William McAlduff along with his late sister Shelley and late brother John. Brian is survived by his loving brothers and sisters: Sherrie Dunbar and her late husband Tom of Tyngsboro; Sandra McAlduff and her husband Kevin McLaughlin of Mansfield, CT; Debra DeFrancesco and her husband Chuck of Lincoln; Dianne McAlduff Tocci of Concord and her significant other Rick Comeau; Bill and his wife Beth of Woburn and Hal from Alexandria, VA. He is also survived by his 15 nephews and nieces Tommy, Colleen, Timmy, Liam, Seanna, Meghan, CJ, Casey, Kevin, Courtney, Kayla, Charlie, Colin, Danny and Cathleen along with several grand nephews and nieces. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Lexington on Tuesday, November 2nd at 12pm. There will be Visiting Hours at Douglass Funeral Home in LEXINGTON, on Monday November 1st from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name can be made to, The American Cancer Society, 3 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 or go online to cancer.org
