BRUCE G. VON ROSENVINGE

von ROSENVINGE, Bruce G. Age 60, of Cambridge, MA, passed away suddenly of natural causes on Friday, December 3rd. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Susie) and devoted father of Petie & his wife Maeve, Perry, & his partner Anne King. He also leaves his sister Valerie von Rosenvinge; his nephew Chapin Porcella; and four nieces Gillian Kradin & her husband Ben & their children Ada and Jacob, Katie Knowles & her husband Roccou, Emily Borelli & her husband Ross & their daughter Madison, and Sarah Wicks; his godson Conor Fraylick; and Bertha, his faithful bernese mountain dog. He graduated from Wellesley High School, Babson College, and the New England School of Law. He was a lawyer by trade and an artist, storyteller, athlete and friend by nature. A lifetime performer and contributor to local theater, the highlights of Bruce's life include his involvement in the Dover Theater Foundation, his position on the TCC paddle tennis B-Team, seeing his son Petie get married this past November, and the next round of golf. An eccentric, incredibly patient, and remarkably loved figure within his community, Bruce brought out the best in those around him. Bruce could often be found walking his dog Bertha, with a cigar in hand, wearing at least one item of bright pink clothing. His colorful sense of style on the golf course was only outdone by the brilliance of his personality. The celebration of Bruce's life will be never ending by the countless people whose lives were improved by his presence. To know him, was to love him. Per Bruce's request no Memorial Service will take place. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Dover Foundation, P.O. Box 69, Dover, MA, 02030 in Bruce's memory.
