CAREN MARLA KATZ

KATZ, Caren Marla (Litner) Of North Easton, formerly of Stoughton, passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 75, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of 53 years to Allan "Al" Katz. Devoted mother of Todd Katz and his wife Julie, and Lisa Marcus and her husband David. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Fiona, and Andrew Katz; and Emily and Jared Marcus. Dear daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Litner. Loving sister of David Litner and his wife Fran. Caren grew up in Dorchester and later moved to Newton. She graduated from MassBay Community College. Caren was a current member of the Stoughton Lions Club. Caren was selflessly devoted to her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother "Mimi." Being a good mother meant everything to her. One of Caren's greatest joys was raising her family with Al in Stoughton, where she and Al had many friends. Caren loved to travel, particularly going on cruises. Caren cherished going on a cruise for her 70th birthday as she was able to enjoy it with her five grandchildren. Caren overcame many challenges in her life because of being inflicted with Multiple Sclerosis for over 30 years. Caren did this with incredible strength. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May, 6, 2022 at 10:00 am at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, CANTON with interment at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
Shiva will be observed on Friday following services, through the evening and on Saturday after sundown, at the Fox Hill Club House, 59 Preston Place, North Easton. Shiva will continue at the home of Allan and Caren on Sunday and Monday from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm.
