Sister Carmel Casey

Age 90, Sister of Mercy, for 70 years, died today, April 30, 2002, at the Sisters of Mercy Warde Health Center, Windham. New Hampshire, after a brief illness. A native of Revere, MA, she was the daughter of Timothy and Julia (Donovan) Casey. Family members include a niece, Eileen Galley-Leeming of Chicago, IL, two nephews, Larry Fitzpatrick of Roscoe IL, and Robert Casey of Hooksett, NH; grand nieces and grand nephews, and cousins. Friends may call Friday, May 3, at the Sisters of Mercy Warde Health Center, 21 Searles Road, Windham, NH from 4 to 7 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. in Our Lady of Mercy Chapel at the Warde Health Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 4, at 9 a.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of Mercy, 21 Serles Road, Windham, NH 03087-1297. The arrangements are under the direction of the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street in SALEM, NH.
