Of Medford, February 23, age 97. Beloved wife of the late Mark J. Bates. Devoted mother of Daniel and his wife Catherine of Medford, Robert and his wife Marie of Dedham, John and his wife Mary of Kennebunk, ME, James and his wife Elizabeth of Tucson, AZ., Marie Conway and Eileen Egan both of Medford, Catherine Toomey and her husband John of West Yarmouth, Margaret Gray and her husband Douglas of Harwich, Jean Willett and her husband Alan of Northport, ME, and the late Mark Bates. Dear mother in law of Mary Bates of Medford. Also survived by forty grandchildren, fifty-two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Wednesday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. James Church, 779 Fellsway, Medford at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
