Of Winchester, April 25, 2002. Beloved wife of the late Alfred B. Fichera Sr. Loving mother of Stephen B. Fichera & his wife Rita M. of West Medford, Rosemary Fichera Nadolski & her husband Thomas of Lincoln, Elaine "Laney" Fichera & her husband Dana R. Williamson of Winchester & L.A., and Alfred B. Fichera Jr. & his wife Deborah S. of Winchester. Dear sister of Susannah S. Crowley of Newton, Margaret W. Sonnenberg of Brewster, and the late Francis T. Sonnenberg. Catherine is also survived by 9 cherished grandchildren Matthew, Christina, Stephen, Jonathan, Thomas, Katherine, Adam, Ben, and Oliver, and by many beloved nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON, Tuesday, April 30, at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Eulalia's Church, Winchester, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 5-9 p.m. Donations in Catherine's memory may be made to the Catherine S. Fichera Sport Scholarship of Winchester High School, Winchester Coop. Bank, 19 Church St., Winchester, MA 01890. Temporary entombment Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.
