Dear Jim and Cameron,
I am so very sorry to hear of Cathy's passing. She was a wonderful lady and a good friend.
I still have the Christmas tree ornaments she made and gave to me many years ago and also a book of sewing needles that she gave me that belonged to her mother.
I remember the home-grown tomatoes she used to bring in to work and the soup she used to make from them.
I remember when you and Cathy and I used to have lunch together everyday in the cafeteria.
I know you and Cameron and everyone who loved her will miss her so much. But she is alright now.
She will always be in your hearts and in mine.
My deepest sympathies to you and Cameron.

Dear Jim and Cameron,
When my cousin Ricky and Uncle Pat called me on Tuesday night from the funeral home and told me my cousin Cathy has passed away .I was shocked and couldn't speak, the tears just came pouring out of my heart. I sit here and say why my cousin Cathy she was full of life and happiness. My heart goes out to both of you. The coming days will be hard and painful I know that for a fact. What you should remember is how much she loved her family. She will always be there watching over both of you. Hearing that Cathy has gone has shocked me so much that I can hardly speak. I never know she was ill. I can't stop the tears falling. When I started to remember all the fun we had when we wore kids. Our weekends wore speical because I would go to her house to sleep over. That made me smile, now I sit here wondering where did all those fun years go. But my heart is still broken, knowing she isn't here to laugh with me about the things we did at the feast every Sunday and the great panics at Whitman's beach which was the Messana's favorite place to go in the summer time. As we grow older and started to rise our own family's, we didn't get to see each other a lot. But when we got together at Jays house for a family get togethers all us cousins and Uncle Pat of couse we always had a lot of laughs. Without Cathy being there will not be the same, she will always be missed But as we all know cancer is a very painful. Cathy didn't like being in pain cause it keep her from caring for her loving family. She is now in no more pain. Now she is a very special angel that will watch over you and Cameron every day. You may not see her but you have to remember her love will always be there for both of you. She will always live in our hearts and prayers forever and ever no matter what. Cathy I will miss you with all my heart.

Hi Jim & Cameron,
So sorry for your loss, I'm going to miss Cathy's weekly calls while sitting in the truck waiting to pick up you or cameron or while she was sitting in the parking lot waiting to go to work. When she couldn't sleep she would call at 2am and tell me I'm her only friend that is up too! She touched so many lives and will be missed.

Dear Jim And Cameron,
I was so shocked to hear that Cathy passed, when Uncle Pat called me. I will never forget all the times Cathy and I talked on the phone, in the last few months. She was so proud of you Cameron, and Loved you and your Dad very much! She must have been needed in heaven, cuz this world won't be the same without her.....She will watch down from the heavens and a new star is shinning above named Cathy...Love Cousin Debra

My condolences to all who knew and loved Cathy. My thougths and prayers are with you.
Though it has been many years since I last saw Cathy, I can remember that when my mother and I would visit the Boston area we would stay with Cathy, and her mother Nancy. We were teenagers then. I remember the summer of 1975, Cathy and I went to see Jaws (the first one). It scared the daylights out of both of us. But, we laughed it off afterwards.
I am sure all who knew Cathy have loving memories of her that they will always cherish.
May she find peace in God's loving arms.

Dear Jim & Cameron,
As you know, Cathy had a heart as big as her body. Always so caring and kind. It was a joy to teach Sunday School with her and call her my friend. It's so hard to understand why it was her time. Be comforted in the knowledge she continues to live in our hearts and soul forever.
