Dear John & Stephen
So sorry to hear of your mothers passing.I first met your mother in April 1966 when I inquired about the neighborhood. We rere thinking of buying the house across the street, and she told me that it was a good nighborhood. She loved my sweet basil, and tomatos. She would bring over many good dishes that she cooked. She loved her children and grandchildren and the time she spent with them in Florida. She will be greatly missed by us as we were neighbors for 41+ years.

Dear John and Stephen: Charlene and I worked together for 15 yrs. and shared many life experiences during that time. She spoke often of her sons and grandchildren. I was always an eager recipient of her great Italian cuisine.

Dear Steve & John, I was so very sad to hear of your Mom's passing. I shared many happy times with her in the past. I'd like to share some of my fond memories of her over the years.. I'll always remember her as a caring family person - always willing to host the many family gatherings; hers was the house where the "welcome door" was always wide open - always a huge delicious pot of her home made pasta sauce on the stove; the happy giggle in her laugh; she loved when people dropped in to visit; the wonderful crafts she so generously made, such as the big Christmas stockings she made for all the Bentubo kids and even some of the grandkids! I know you'll miss her terribly, Her memory will stay with so many of us. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers during this very sad time.
Sincerely,
Jean Bentubo

Dear Stephen and John,
We're so sorry and surprised to hear of Charlene's death. She would come back from Florida each time tired but rejuvenated from the sunshine and we hoped for the same this year. She was the first to welcome us to the neighborhood and will always be remembered for her generosity and greeting cards for all occasions! Love and prayers, Doreen and Doug
