Always on my mind...forever in my heart. On August 9, 2022, it is 9 years since you have been gone and it always feels like yesterday. Not a day goes by that I don't want to talk and laugh with you. God bless you and I just shake my head because the world is so different without you in it. It takes everything from God above to get through this day. Continue to rest in peace in God's arms.

August 9 makes it 8 years that you are gone. I move on the best I can in life and work hard, do the best, with faith in God. But I said it before and will say it again, there isn't a day that goes by in all of these years where I don't think about you. It could be a song, something you said at work that made me fall over laughing, or something that you said at home. I remember times we were were friends, just work acquaintenances, boyfriend and girlfriend or when we weren't around each other because our lives were in different directions for a while. I remember an argument where I still ended up laughing. It certainly wasn't perfect and sometimes it was heartbreaking, to a point where we didn't look like we could last. But it's those times in later years when I knew nothing but love, respect, your cooking, the safety, protection and best love and friendship. You taught me about life, what love is, what not to accept and what to accept, more than anyone would ever know. Besides the tough guy who once lived life super fast, you were the most down to earth, sports loving, humorous, warmest person I ever knew. I wonder when my heart will heal. There are two categories of events in life--things you easily move on from and get over and things one learns to live with. I have had to live with this. I know you are happy in heaven and getting everything you ever missed out on on earth. Until the day I die and beyond, I will honor your memory. Tell my mother and father I said hello. God has his arms around you always. I love you and will always miss you.

You know Chuck some people might say that 2020 is the worst year they've ever experienced but I will always say it till the very end that August 9th 2013 is a worst day of my life. I will never forget that day and I will never ever forget you. As always, it is about you. I pray for you, I thank you for allowing me to know you, making me stronger along the way as well. You are a bright spot in a world that has not been the same since you are gone. I will hold you in my heart forever. I will pray for you everyday. I know you are with family members who you love but on Earth here I'll always think about you. God bless you, God thank you for allowing me to live through all of this as well. Please continue to watch over me and stay wrapped in God's arms which I know you will. You are incomparable, Irreplaceable, remembered, loved and your memory will always be alive.

At the start of this week, I woke up praying and crying because Friday, August 9th is the worst day in my life. It's not about me. I want you to know there hasn't been a day in 6 years I have not thought about you, saw your face, dreamed about you, prayed for you, laughed at a memory, and wished you were watching your Patriots win a Super Bowl, watch your Red Sox win a World Series, or the Bruins advance to the Stanley Cup, or just conversations about everyday life. The world is not the same without your humor and presence. We all fall short and we have all made mistakes but I never saw a man try more to be a positive loving man and you achieved all of that and then some before you left for heaven. You went through so much in your short lifetime. I feel privileged to have known you, loved you, know you as a friend, co-worker, boyfriend, life partner but gone too young. August 9, 2013-6 years later. You are never forgotten and I strive to keep your memory alive. I miss you. God bless you forever and ever.

It was and is true love.....there is no timetable for grief. I grow, I live, I breath, I succeed but there is always a piece of me that is gone to heaven with you.
