BONANNO, Charles D. Of Palm Beach, Florida, formerly of Gloucester, Winchester and Belmont, passed away in Florida, unexpectedly, on October 8, 2024. Age 88. Son of the late Charles D. Bonanno and M. Carmen (Simeone) Bonanno. Husband of the late Janet A. (Mullen) Bonanno. Loving father of Charles D. Bonanno, III of Gloucester and Lexington, Stephen F. Bonanno of Lexington and Gloucester and Allison C. Bonanno of Las Vegas, Nevada. Dear brother of Charlotte B. Kelley of Arlington and the late Rosa Bonanno Shinagel. Former brother-in-law of Patricia (Lustiber) Mullen. Former husband of Fedelina "Lena" (Palladino) Bonanno, of whom he remained close. A 1953 graduate of Brown & Nichols School in Cambridge and a 1959 graduate of Babson Institute in Babson Park, Wellesley. U.S. Army Veteran. Former owner, president and treasurer of Charles D. Bonanno Linen Service, Inc., past president of the New England Linen Supply Association, past director of Commercial Bank & Trust Company of Wilmington, former owner of Montague Machine, life member of the Ancient & Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts and was an enthusiastic and active member of the Antique & Classic Boat Society. Visiting Hours will be held in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St., WATERTOWN on Monday, October 28, from 4 to 8 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
