I am saddened to hear of Chucky's passing, as he was a person full of life and laughter. My memories of him are from West Dennis summers hanging out at the McGrath's house. There were many spirited political conversations he had with the parents and older children. He was always confident of his political position. I also remember him as a jokester, teasing me and Tracy and playing practical jokes to keep us all smiling.
We were all better people for knowing Chucky.
May you find peace in the coming days.

Dear Heather
I am so saddened to learn of Chuck's passing. I don't have to tell you how much he was respected, admired and loved by all. Chuck was the kind of guy everyone wished they could be like and just being around him would make you a happier and enriched person.

The two of your were the greatest match, too, and I am sure your love and support were so important and helpful to him. My deepest condolences to you and your family. He will be forever remembered in so many ways.

Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. We called him "Chucky" back at the R.G.Morris School. He was bright, witty, personable, and well-mannered. Chucky would introduce Kathy O. and myself as his friends and the feeling was mutual. We had fun just walking pass the Park Street home to and from school. He was a great kid who grew up to be a very special man. May he rest in peace.

Growing up on Cape Cod summers ,Chucky and Tracy were a big part of our family. I will remember him walking down Uncle Barney's Road to the Town Peir to sit with Sam to solve the worlds problems.
And all the adventures that he and my brother Jim had in the Boston Whaler. Some of which will be kept a secret for ever.
Although one sticks out in my mind was the day we were on the Shamrock, Jim and Chucky in the Whaler jumping over the Shamrocks wake. Chucky on the bow of the boat was hurled out and into Nantucket Sound not long after he was released from spending a year in a body cast.
They are all fond memories of our childhood. May he and my brother Jim enjoy a heavenly friendship once again.
Our deepest sympathy to the Campion family

While I tagged along, Chuck navigated Larry Moulter thru the shark-infested waters surounding the new Boston Garden.....always with optimism, realism, good humor and a touch of class. Condolences to the family.....and I will miss our periodic intersection in the roiad.
