Charles J. DeGrazia Sr.

DeGRAZIA, Charles "Charlie" J. Sr. Beloved husband of Beverly M. (Thompson) DeGrazia died Thursday June 9th, 2011 at the age of 71, with his family at his side. Charlie was born October 26th 1939 in Boston MA to Pasquale and Carmella (Coppozo) DeGrazia. Charlie was a resident of Lakeville MA for many years. He was co-owner to Superline Transportation Company Inc., Brooks and Eaton Express Inc., and J.D. United Realty of East Freetown MA. He was also founder of Highway Interstate Transportation Company Middleboro/East Freetown MA. Charlie was a member of Saint John Neuman Parish of East Freetown MA and served as Board of Director for HIS Land and retreat house in Lakeville MA. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and spending time with his grandchildren. Charlie is survived by his three children Charles J. DeGrazia Jr. (wife Michele), Darrin G. DeGrazia (wife Luann-deceased), Angela M. DeGrazia, and six grand children Kara Delorey, Nicholas DeGrazia (wife Theresa), Nathan Medieros, Adam DeGrazia, Megan DeGrazia, and Noah DeGrazia. Charlie is also survived by his three brothers John C. DeGrazia (wife Betty) of East Freetown MA, Christopher A. DeGrazia (wife Gloria) of Lakeville MA, Robert P. DeGrazia of Dartmouth MA, and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will take place Friday June 17, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford St., LAKEVILLE, MA. A funeral service will begin Saturday June 18th at 8:30 am at the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford St., Lakeville, MA. A funeral mass will follow at 10 am, Saint John Neumann Parish, 157 Middleboro Rd., East Freetown, MA. Interment will follow in Sampson Cemetery, Lakeville.
