My condolences to the entire Eicher family. Charlie was one of my closest neighborhood friends growing up in Stoneham. He was fun loving, warm & friendly. He was a most understanding & supportive friend. You'll be missed by all. God Bless You Charlie!

My sincerest condolences to Charlie's family. He was a real character and a ray of sunshine with a smile for everyone. I remember him from high school when he was a true "free spirit." RIP friend.

Charlie was a friend from way back from grammar school, middle school, and high school. Coming from a large family in Stoneham he was well known. I knew him from Cape Cod too. My family had a place in Wellfleet with another large family from Stoneham the Forests'. Over the years we would run into each other. I live in Reading ,I saw him in North Reading now and then . Thanks to email and now face book , we kept in touch. He had posted a picture just a few weeks ago. I thought he was home recuperating. He was the cutest surfer boy. In the eighth grade he dated my neighbor Betsy Palmer.... I had a crush on his friend Allen Leland... Those of us from Stoneham remember those days. I know how proud he was of his family. He touched so many of us. I would like to come to the service in the fall. Even though he is gone he will always be around in my memories. I know his spirit will be with all of us, watching over and sending signs that he is around. He's a Angel now smiling down on us. Rest in peace sweet Charlie ! Always Kitty

Dear Charlie, You were the fun one. Always on an adventure, taking the high road, bringing your humor and big grins with you. You packed it all into your shortened life and I am pretty sure you have no regrets. Well, when you see me coming and your other friends and relatives, put a good word in for us because we'll need it. Until we are all together again, show them how it's done.

I am so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. He was such a character. Altho I only knew him for a short time he touched me and I thought about him often. One of the funniest people I ever met.
