CHARLES F. "BUD" FLAHERTY

FLAHERTY, Charles F. "Bud" Of North Quincy, died August 26, 2024. He was 84. Beloved husband for 55 years of the late Patricia (O'Connor) Flaherty. Loving father of Maureen E. Slattery and her late husband Joseph of Norwood, Daniel O. Flaherty and his wife Kirsten of Quincy, Susan P. Murray and her husband Michael of Milton, Kevin E. Flaherty of Quincy; and father-in-law of Cheryl Flaherty of Pembroke. He was the devoted "Papa" to Liam, Caitlin, Brendan, Olivia, Grace, Danny, Lauren, Patrick, Luke, and Alexandra. Cherished brother of Richard "Dick" Flaherty of NM and RI, and the late Patricia K. Burrows-Flood. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during Visiting Hours on Tuesday, September 3rd, from 4-7pm, in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 4th, at 11:30am, prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy, at 12:30pm. Burial with Navy Honors on Thursday, September 5th, at 10am, in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
