CHARLES NUTTER Obituary

NUTTER, Charles Kaulbach "Chip" Jr. Known to many as Chip, died peacefully at his home, on September 15, 2025, a month before his 68th birthday. He graduated from Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, New Hampshire in 1975. Chip attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, receiving a Bachelor in Architecture degree in 1980. He subsequently worked at Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill, Graham Gund Associates, The Stubbins Associates and Woodman Associates Architects. Chip leaves behind his loving wife, Katherine Flaherty; his two sons, Charles and James Nutter, now both of Boston; and his brother, Richard Nutter; and his sister, Mary Ann Pottle, both of Exeter, New Hampshire. He loved good music, fixing appliances, and watching juvenile comedies. In accordance with Chip's wishes, a private Memorial will be held by the family at a future date. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home, 193 High St., NEWBURYPORT, MA 01950 is assisting with Mr. Nutter's Funeral arrangements.
