My condolences to his family. I had Mr. O'Reilly for physics my junior year at LHS. I had badly injured my back and was bedridden for a month. Mr. O'Reilly, unannounced, dropped by the house, sat and talked with me for an hour and gave me four books to read. It was an act of kindness that stays with me to this day. - Jonathan Goldblatt

Charlie was the person at LHS who helped me the most when I was a new teacher. I consulted him often for advice and ideas. He was a wonderful educator and generous coworker. I send my best wishes to his lovely wife, his son, and his daughter. He treasured his family and spoke of them many times during the years we worked together.

My deepest sympathy to Jill, Luke and Rebecca. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. The most touching thing about Dan was the love he had for his family. Whenever he was asked about his children, his eyes lit up with pride and joy! Luke and Rebecca are his legacy and a testament to the love he and Jill shared with each other and with them. Rest in peace.
