DeMELIS, Christine (Spring) Of Hingham, died unexpectedly on November 7, 2018, she was 54. The beloved wife of Robert DeMelis of Hingham. Cherished mother of Stephen, Cori, Matthew and Devin DeMelis, all of Hingham. Devoted daughter of Frederick J. Jr. and Annette (Robilotto) Spring of Hingham. Sister of Marianne Tangney of Weymouth, Patrick Spring of Milton and Frederick J. Spring, III of Weymouth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 3-7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul's Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul's Cemetery, Hingham. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Chris passing. I found out from a neighbor here in Sand Shores, her summer neighborhood, just yesterday. Chris was a wonderful lady. Dear Mr. and Mrs Spring, I am very surprised to hear of Christine's passing at such a young age. My deepest condolences to you and all of your family. I remember all of you and Christine as a teenager when we spent so many summers together at the cape. There are no words to comfort parents on the loss of their child. Can't believe Chris is gone. We mostly saw each other walking around the neighborhood, but we would each stop to talk, mostly about our children, what they were up to, what worried us or made us happy.

She is a great loss and far too young! I will always remember her warmth and the care she took of her family.
