FAIRBANK, Christine L. (Cunningham) In Lowell, formerly of Cotuit and Brookline, November 24, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Richard Reid Fairbank. Loving mother of John of Billerica, Michael of Methuen, Martha and Robert both of Lowell, Andrew of Milford, NH., Anne of Boston, Christina of Chicago, IL., and David of Ft. Collins, CO. Dear sister of Barbara O'Doherty of Concord and the late Robert and John Cunningham. Also survived by her thirteen devoted grandchildren. A graduate of Saugus High School, Christine worked at Simplex Cable in Cambridge for many years. In addition to focusing on the concerns of raising a large family, she engaged in her lifelong passion for the outdoors; gardening, photography, sewing, and the company of good friends, both old and new. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday evening from 6-8 in the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., BROOKLINE. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10 in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Brookline. Interment Mosswood Cemetery Cotuit at 1:00 PM.
