Claudia M. Christie

Of Scarborough, Maine, formerly of Somerville, died peacefully at home with her family, Monday, March 29, 2004 from breast cancer. She was 59. Claudia will be forever in the hearts of her life partner Joan Seidel of Scarborough, her sister and brother-in-law, Valerie Christie and Paul Anton of Phoenix, AZ, cousin Shannon Dunn of Kansas City, MO, niece Stephanie Christie of Tacoma, WA and many loving relatives, friends, Lesley University Colleagues and Students. A Memorial Celebration will take place Saturday, April 24, at 11 AM at St. Nicholas' Episcopal Church, 350 US Rte 1, Scarborough, ME. An additional Memorial Celebration will take place to honor the contributions Claudia has made to the Lesley University Community on Wednesday, April 28 at 4 PM at Lesley University Alumni Hall, 29 Everett St., Cambridge, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend both Services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Claudia's memory to the Scarborough Historical Society, 649A US Route 1, Scarborough, Maine 04074.
