JOSEPH REDER Obituary
Age 87, of Bloomfield, on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Beloved husband of Joan (Snyder) Reder; loving father of Joseph G. (Janet R.) Reder, Mary Anne (Richard P.) Sciullo, John W. Reder and Paul K. (Denise M.) Reder; cherished grandfather of Sara Sciullo, Erica Sciullo, Brooke Reder, Austin Reder, Brittney Reder and Alexander Reder; son of the late Joseph and Hilda Reder; and brother of the late William, Herbert and Roy Reder. Friends received Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at WINTER FUNERAL HOME, PC, 4730 Friendship Ave. Funeral Thursday 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. at St. Maria Goretti Parish, Liberty Campus. In Joe's memory the Reder family requests memorial contributions be made to Wounded Warriors, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.

Joan & family,
Another Bloomfield icon gone......how I remember 'shopping' with my Mom, Ruth Stoecker in your butcher shop; very fond memories. Joe was a kind and gentle man, always up for a joke or two. I remember well, "Rudolph" hanging there, too! Wish there we men like Joe still around, the world would be a better place! May he rest in peace and my you & your family find comfort in his memory.
