Of Belmont, NH, formerly of Mansfield, Nov. 17, 2005. Beloved husband of Dorette T. (Butler) Pearl. Devoted father of Kathleen E. McCloud and her husband Emmett of Mansfield, Nancy G. Griffin and her husband John of Sandwich. Loving son of Clifford F. Pearl, Sr. of Mashpee and the late Margaret V. (McGillaway) Pearl. Stepson of Rita M. Pearl of Mashpee. Brother of Edward N. Pearl of Eastham, Richard E. Pearl of TN, Donna M. Peters of AZ and Robin A. Pearl of CA. Brother-in-law of Arthur A. Butler, Jr. of Foxboro. Cherished grandfather of Sarah E. Griffin, Jack Clifford Griffin, both of Sandwich, Ryan P. McCloud, Justin A. McCloud and Megan K. McCloud, all of Mansfield. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Funeral will be held Monday, Nov. 21 at 10 AM from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., MANSFIELD followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM to be celebrated in St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday, 4-8 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Mansfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in Clifford's memory may be made to FRAXA, 45 Pleasant St., Newburyport, MA 01950. Former Boston School Teacher. Having known Cliff for more than 45 years, starting with his days in South Boston as a schoolteacher, I know what a loss this is to his family and friends. Later on, we worked closely as brother knights on vital projects, most especially the prolife cause. Cliff was a true gentle man.
