1994 - 2018

CRONIN, Colin Michael Colin Michael Cronin, 23, of North Andover, died Monday November 26, 2018 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston surrounded by his loving family and friends. Colin will be remembered by all as a fun loving, adventurous soul who had a huge smile and hug for all. He aspired to be in the medical field, majoring in biology, minoring in chemistry. He became an EMT through a grueling 18-day boot camp while on a Christmas break. He was a member of National Ski Patrol and volunteered at Stowe Mountain. He spent summers on Cape Cod working at Chapin's Restaurant and Coastal Medical Transportation Services and took his jeep onto the beach whenever he could. Colin loved traveling, the mountains, the beach and had the strongest passion for lacrosse. Colin was a 2018 graduate of Saint Michael's College in Winooski, VT where he was captain of the Men's Lacrosse team. He also was a 2013 graduate of North Andover High School, where he also served as a captain of the Varsity Lacrosse team. Directly after graduation this May, Colin went to Adelaide, Australia to play lacrosse on the North Adelaide Lacrosse Club, and spent some time working, traveling the country and making lifelong mates and friends. Most importantly though, Colin was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, great nephew, cousin, teammate and friend and will be missed by all. Born at Lawrence General Hospital, November 29, 1994, Colin is the son of Michael J. and Julie (Clark) Cronin. As well as his parents, Colin is survived by his brother Riley, sister Abbie, both of North Andover; grandmother, Janice Clark of Vassalboro, ME; grandmother, Vivien Cronin of Winchester, MA; step-grandmother, Laura Cronin; aunts and uncles, Jody and Steve Jones of St. Louis, MO; Jill and Scott Spicer of Vassalboro, ME, Robert and Sharon Clark of Lewiston, ME, Jolene and Scott Gamage of Vassalboro, ME, Laura and David Wentzel of Hyannis, MA. He also leaves behind his cousins and their spouses, Ted and Kristina, Janny and Matt, Josie and Sam, Jody, Whitney and Jim, Lindsey and Jon, Alivia, Garrett and Emily, Ali, Samantha, Katie, Mitchell, Addison, and Maggie as well as many second cousins. Colin is predeceased by his grandfather, William Cronin. Visiting Hours: Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Saturday 12/1 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Conte's Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover, MA 01845.
