Dear Mr. and Mrs. Horan- I just found out about Colleen's passing. I can't begin to understand how you must feel. My sister Karen and I loved playing basketball with Colleen in Woburn. She always had a smile on her face, and encouragement for everyone. My husband had known her too when we all went to Curry College. What a spirit she always had. We're sending our prayers.

I only met Colleen, her husband, and children once when I visited with her sister Christine and parents at their house down the Cape a few years ago. She was a lovely and warm person. I lost my cousin Joanne to Cancer a couple of years ago. My heart and prayers go out to her husband, children, and their entire family and friends during their time of need.

I had the pleasure of meeting Colleen through the Greater Foxboro Relay for Life. I only hope she knows the strength and courage she exhibited to all. Her presentations to our survivors over the past few years were such an inspiration to all of us. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I was moved by the story of your beloved daughter, wife and mother. Colleen was too young to be taken from you. Please know all of you are in my thoughts and prayers in the difficult days and weeks ahead. In time, you will smile at your happy memories.

I just wanted to send my deepest sympathy to all of Colleen's family. I only had the pleasure of meeting Colleen a couple times, when she brought Michael in to see his Grandfather at work :) however I felt like I knew her very well from the way her Father spoke about her...she is a wonderful Mother and person all around. My heart breaks for all of you and Michael and Jackie. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and again I am deeply sorry for your loss.

To My Dear Friends:
Pete, Michael and Jacquelyn;
Richard, Joan and Christine;
Jerry and Gerry,
We were all so blessed to have Colleen in our lives. But she, too, was blessed to have all of you. Her light will continue to shine down upon you. Try to find some comfort knowing you now have a very special angel watching over you all (though she probably already traded in her halo for Mickey ears).
We don't know why He chose to take her from all of us so early. I like to think of it as this...
When we pick a flower we always choose the most beautiful one. Sometimes God does that, too.
My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you always. We will continue to support our favorite little Walpole family, so they can Live Life Play Hard!
With Love and Friendship,
Nicole, Rob, Justin & Griffin
