Dear Deidre,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May you find peace and comfort in knowing that your mom and dad are represented in you and that they were so proud of the woman you have become. It is a very difficult struggle now, but they would want nothing less than your success. Now is your time to take life by its reins and make a difference. You will overcome. With love and sorrow for your great loss.

Hannah, Tom, Shannon and families,

We are so sorry to hear of Colleen's passing. Please accept our sincere thoughts of sympathy.

November 21, 2011

Dear Hanna, Tom, and Shannon, I have been feeling extremely sad about dear Colleen. It does not seem possible and real that this has happened. It is a true BLESSING and GIFT that Deirdre has been with me and my tribute, a life-long tribute to Colleen will be that I promise to always take care of her dear daughter the best way I can. I know Colleen is Deirdre's guardian angel as Deirdre's teddy bear started singing away (the battery had been dead for the past 10 years!!) in the hospital when Deirdre was with Colleen. The little bear that Deirde had since she was a baby just started singing its song all on its own!! So this is how I know that Colleen is still with us...we just can't physically see her, that's all. I will forever remember how she was always so very sweet, kind, and accepting of me from the very day Chris took me home to meet his family. We were as close as a 1st and 2nd wife could ever be. I miss her VERY BADLYbut will always remember her peals of laughter and her pure heartedness which came from a heart of GOLD. VERY few people in this world are like Colleen.
