As Auntie Connie's godchild, I have very fond memories of her. One thing she was always very proud of was how well she remembered everyone's birthdays...a trait that I'm sure meant so much to everyone on her list. As a child, I'd look forward to receiving my own card with that $5 bill. :-) I would go shopping in Trinidad, buying loads of material to sew my own clothes. And voila! A whole new wardrobe for $5!! I'm so happy we were able to visit her and Mo just a few weeks before her passing. We'll all miss her. Much love and Herman's Hermits to our dear cousins... :-)

Our heartfelt sympathies and condolences are extended to the McManus Family in your time of grief. My mother, Audrey Ross, was a lifelong friend of Connie. They grew up together in Somerville and stayed in touched over the years. My mother enjoyed her frequent trips to Florida to visit Connie during the cold Boston winters. Audrey was truly saddened when she heard the news of Connie's passing. Rest in Peace Connie.
