CRAIG S. VALDEZ

VALDEZ, Craig S. Age 66, of Needham MA, passed away peacefully on Feb.10, 2022 with family at his side after a brief illness. Craig was born and raised in Lakewood, CA. After graduating college and working several years in California, he moved to Maui, Hawaii for the next 10 years before meeting his future wife, Esther, whom he married in 2002. Craig and Esther were blessed with two children, Andrew and Rachel. Throughout his life, Craig enjoyed travelling around the world with family and friends, and in later years, devoted his life to public service, especially focused on providing food to those in need throughout New England. Craig is survived by his loving wife, Esther; his son Andrew and daughter Rachel; as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law, Kevin and Mona Valdez of Florida, and Nanci and Kenneth Valdez of Texas; and his niece Meghan and nephew Ryan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hector and Mary Valdez. A Celebration of His Life will be held on Monday, Feb. 21st, at 11:00 am, at the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Avenue, NEEDHAM, followed by a lunch reception.
