Dee,
You have my deepest sympathy on the passing of your mother. I know that in the most recent years you had grown closer that ever. As you struggle with a mixture of emotions, an overwhelming sadness at the lost of her presence, and the joy that she’s finally in a better place, a place that God has promise for us all, remember her fondly and do the best you can as you go on.

Ms. Delores,
My thoughts and prays are with you and your family. Both your parents were very special to my family and myself, and played examples of strength and great Christian faith in our adolescent lives. Mrs. Evans welcomed us as her own and on many of occasion filled in as a surrogate when our parents were unable deliver us to Sunday school or choir rehearsal. Mrs. Evans will be fondly remembered with kindness and love.

Delores,
Your mom was a very special lady. I enjoyed sitting next to her for years during Choral Union Rehearsals. Tom & I frequently gave her a ride home, and always enjoyed lunches at the "Dancer". May wonderful memories be of comfort.

Delores,
Your Mother was a special Lady. I always enjoyed visiting with her when she came into Master Furrier over the years. She always had a smile on her face and was a delight to be around. God Bless you with happy memories of her forever.

Delores my prayers are with you and your family. Mr. and Mrs. Evans were like my second grandparents. Mrs. Evans took such a special intrest im me, she nurtured and loved me and took me everywhere with her while growing up at Second Baptist and I have always loved her for that. She will ALWAYS be remembered and loved.
