Daniel Dillon Obituary

Age 78, in Tampa, FL, formerly of Weymouth, October 8, 2007. Beloved husband of the late T. Marion (Martell) Dillon. Devoted father of Daniel Dillon and his wife Judy of Springfield, Michael Dillon and his wife Susan of Braintree, David Dillon and his wife Margie of Norfolk, Christopher Dillon and his wife Lori of Holbrook, Donna Martel and her husband Curtis of Campton, NH. Also survived by 11 grandchildren. Brother of Paul Dillon and his wife Lucille of Tampa, FL. Graveside services, with military honors, will be conducted at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree, Wednesday Oct. 17 at 11 a.m. (Please meet at the cemetery office, 700 West St. Braintree). Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Memorial visiting hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Ave. QUINCY, Tuesday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Dillon's memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Pl West, 6th Flr, Brookline, MA 02445-7226. Late World War II & Korean War United States Army Veteran.

Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and the Korean War and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
