MURPHY, Daniel Francis "Dan" Age 84, of Naples Florida, formerly of Hollis and Nashua, NH, New Seabury, Mashpee, Woburn, and Cambridge, MA, passed away on October 13, 2023. Beloved husband of his predeceased wife, Rita M. Murphy. Devoted father of Stephen and his wife, Debbie of Portsmouth, RI, Lynn and her husband, Ed of Naples, FL, Gary and his wife, Kristen of Westford, MA and David and his wife, Amy of Scituate, MA. Loving Da/grandpa to Matthew, Jack, Olivia, Caroline, Amanda, Kaitlin, Maggie, Luke, Allie, Charlie & Tessie. Predeceased by his grandson, Jake; sister, Ann Fennelly and her husband, Joe. Also loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father Daniel Francis Murphy. After graduating from Boston College, Dan had a very successful career in sales, retiring from his position of VP of Sales from Teradyne Connection Systems where he was known for his steadfast dedication, strong relationships and many contributions. He left behind a legacy that will be remembered and respected by his colleagues. Dan will also be remembered for his many passions including golf, especially the 19th hole, coaching hockey and attending countless games to watch his sons played, travelling the globe and his insatiable appetite for reading, but mostly, he will be remembered for making a long story even longer. He will be missed by all who knew him for his wisdom, wit and for living life to the absolute fullest. Relatives & friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, November 10, 2023, at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 115 Middlesex Street, North Chelmsford, MA at 1 PM, followed immediately by a Celebration of Life at Vesper Country Club, Tyngsboro, MA.
