Of Hyde Park, January 14, 2003. Devoted husband of Muriel R. (Pina) Ridley of Hyde Park. Dear father of Frederick Q. Ward of Brooklyn, NY, Rebecca Ridley Nazareth and her husband Brett of Boston, Daniel I. Ridley III of Medford and the late Cynthia J. Ridley. Grandfather of Frederick, Nefertity and Khalif Ward, all of Brooklyn, NY. Beloved son of Mary A. Grant of Hyde Park. Brother of Dr. Joyce M. Grant of E. Lansing, MI. He is survived by a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Mass Monday at 10 AM at St. Mary of the Angels Church, corner of Columbus and Walnut Aves., Roxbury. Visiting with the family Saturday 6-8 PM and Sunday 2-4 PM at the Davis Funeral Home, 89 Walnut Ave., ROXBURY and Sunday at 6 PM at Carver Grand Lodge, 80 Talbot Ave., Dorchester. Masonic service follows at 7 PM. Burial Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers make donations in his memory to GRECC-Unit 62CD 200 Springs Rd., Bedford, MA 01730.
