David was one of the best people I've known. He was also the best boss I ever had. I've always had fond memories of Anderson's Market.

We would like to send our condolences to the Anderson family. Though more distantly related to David, we are very sorry for his loss and send our love and warm regards to his family who survive him.

Uncle David was a well loved resident of Concord and I'm proud to have called him my uncle. I remember seeing him every time I went to the old grocery store as a kid, or to summer events at the Musketaquid Club. He seemed most in his element when he was surrounded by friends and turning out those great recipes. Even recently he still had that loud, clear, upbeat voice. When I visit or pass by the old Broken Spoke here in Austin I think of David and his friendships with the musicians who were regulars down here. Rest in peace, Uncle David.

A Concord institution has passed. How will the Town ever be the same without the gentle presence of Dave Anderson? As a youngster, I recall Sunday evening jaunts with Dad to Anderson's Market to get a few things (the cheese wheel), but more to visit with Dave and catch up on news seeing old friends. Dave also made THE best roast beef sandwich on the face of the earth. I am so glad I had a chance to talk with Dave not that long ago and with fondness, rekindle warm memories of days gone by with the two Dave's. My heart is sad learning of his passing. I offer my deepest sympathy to all of the Anderson's. Dave was dearly loved by the Williams family. He was one of a kind, a lovely man and truly a gentleman.
