Saddened to hear that David passed on. He was a friend and mentor to many of us Allstonites. David was a wealth of knowledge which he shared profusely. RIP our friend.

I was saddened to hear of Dave. Dave was an Allston legend, everyone knew and liked Dave. He was my first and best financial advisor. God bless you, Dave.

To the Carlson Family,
Though gone from Allston for over
50 years I remember David was
the first to have the quintessential
1964 maroon red mustang-a ragtop
of course . Also remember he was
a top notch 10 pin bowler. Hardly
surprised he had such a distinguished career as an E.E. May
the loving memory of David sustain
his family and friends at this time.
Sincerely,
Bob Mee

To the Carlson Family, I offer my sincere condolences. David was one of the smartest guys around, and he would tell us younger guys, to read, and read and read. He had a large paper route and would fill his station wagon with newspapers. We would help out and at the end of the day, Dave would buy a case of foreign beer for our labor. Of course we were still in high school. David joined an Allston reunion at a Western Avenue establishment, and he stole the show. Everyone was so pleased to see him. A wonder person, and my God Bless him.

Sorry to learn of the loss of Dave. I have many fond memories of him in Allston and on the Cape. May he rest in peace.

David:
Was a mentor to many a young fellow coming up in our Allston neighborhood, smart as a whip, a hard worker and an excellent driving instructor.
