I just wished him a Happy Birthday on Facebook. I don't know why, but I always remembered his birthday. (Since I had a crush on him in 7th grade) I went to St Clement's with him. He was a great guy!

what a damn boo hiss upon learning of Dave's passing. Sue so sorry for your loss!
Being one of his Somerville friends I loved playing basketball with him. And his quick wit. oh how true that was of him He really brought joy every Wednesday when we played. He had the bad knees but he only gave it up to coach his kids soccer team I think it was. We lost touch in the days before email and texting made it easy to stay in touch and i wish I had found him before this
You are a great memory Dave.

Dear Sue, Thank you for the call telling me of Dave's passing. I worked with Dave for years at Analog Devices and got to briefly meet Erik. He and my son worked briefly at Analog. I remember telling Dave that I thought Erik was a very nice young man and that Dave should strive to be more like Erik. That is the only time I ever got the best of Dave with a zinger and walked away before he could counter, and he always did. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. If there is any help I can give you please call.

My heart and thoughts go out to all of you guys. I have so many amazing memories of Dave, from watching Pats games with his contagious enthusiasm, to sporting events where he was always so supportive of everyone (and you could always pick his voice out of the crowd), and in particular the incredible summers at the Cape. The Cape will always have a special place in my heart, and this is thanks in large part to all the summers spent there with you guys, where my family was always welcomed by yours, and Dave was such a huge part of that. Dave's openness, friendliness, and approachability went such a long way towards making it a special place to be. He always showed incredible kindness to me over the years (Matt Murr-AY!), and I will always consider myself extremely lucky to have known him.

Born in Boston with parents who introduced Dave and Susan, I have always had a a strong tie to the Daniliuk family. Dave in particular was always a cheerleader to me being the best version of myself (Boston...). He loved sports but always took time to humor us kids in our original "Oreo" commercials we filmed in the basement, "let it go" when my litter sister successfully completed the Statue of Liberty pass against his boys in the backyard on Thanksgiving, but most importantly always made all of us feel loved, valued and needed when it came to family time. Boston Dave... I now promise to walk the street of Boston for the rest of my life speaking your name and forever cheering on the Red Sox and the Patriots knowing you're in heaven making sure your kids both Daniliuk born and Moorhead born are watched over... God knows... you've paid your dues walking with Joe on your back for 6 miles up hill in a snow storm while my mom was in labor with me in May. I will forever love you and miss you with my entire heart. Tipp
Dave, Thank you for being a friend and a Great Boss. Susan and the children were very blessed as was you to have each other. Susan, Hang on to all the wonderful memories you all made as a Family. Mary

My heart goes out to the Daniliuk family at this time. I had the good fortune to work for Dave in 2 different departments at Analog over the years. He was, hands down, the best supervisor a person could ask for. His sense of humor, quick wit, and kind heart will always be remembered.

I met Dave at Analog over 20 years ago. When I was considering moving out of the city to Maynard I called him to find out about the town, he had so much good to say about the community I ended up moving there. On occasion he gave me rides to work in that big truck of his when my car was in for service. Whenever I saw him he always had a smile on his face and a funny story to tell. Dave will be missed by many. My deepest condolences to the Daniliuk family.

Sue and family, both Chris and I are so saddened, heartbroken over the loss of our truly favorite neighbor on Southvillage circle. In the past 10 years as neighbors Daves humorous greetings and conversations made truly our decision to reside permanently next door to such a warm and generous family. Dave pushed me along as I renovated our cottage with jokes and support. I will always cherish are conversations over the Boston sport teams. Sue you can count on us for any support or needs you might require. Our prayers and thoughts to you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. In the time we worked together at Analog, Dave often spoke with pride of his family, whom he loved above all else. He made me laugh every day and was such a fun guy to work with, but his love for his wife and children is what I remember most about him. My deepest sympathy to Dave's family and friends. God rest his soul.

Dave was my best supervisor during my 32 years at Analog Devices. He always made time to talk with me over old times whether it was in the hallways or in his office. I was so happy for him when he retired. He was able to spend more time with the people who he loved the most; his family. I'm so sorry for your terrible loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family. THE WORLD IS LESS FUNNY WITHOUT DAVE IN IT. RIP! My friend.

Growing up we called him Uncle Dave; we didn't know he wasn't my dad's brother. My dad and Uncle Dave were such close friends, it was hard to tell. You always knew Uncle Dave was around cause everyone was laughing. I remember he had the biggest smile I don't think I knew what his face looked like without a grin. We moved away when I was 10. The last family gathering I recall, he created an ingenious game to sedate a sugar coated, riled up, bunch of kids. The winner had to lay still on the ground, silently, the longest. The kids tried their best for at least 30-45min. He called the game Coma. That was 1987.
Bye Uncle Dave, you will be missed! I'm so sorry Sue, Nicole, Craig, and Erick.

Dave hired me almost 20 years ago at Analog. He was a great boss and I enjoyed working for him very much. When I went back to school and was promoted he was very proud and encouraging which meant a great deal to me. I now Supervise the same crew that he did previously in the Fab. We all still talk of the old times with him and say he was "one of the good ones." I'll deliver the news on Friday to everyone and I expect a lot of tears, shock, and disbelief. He was so well regarded and liked. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be missed by many.

I have so many great memories of your Dad. From driving him crazy with our singing while we were testing batteries in flashlights for a science project, to him pretending to be Edgar Allen Poe and Carson Daly for our videos. He was always such a good sport, and he seemed to love having all of his kids' friends around (which was a good thing since we were always around). He was fun loving - always greeting you with a smile and a big hug. He always had some corny dad joke that you couldn't help but laugh at. I will also never forget saying goodbye to the original Cape cottage before the renovations. We had such a fun night all together.
I'm so glad I had the chance to dance with him at Kathleen's wedding and Nicole's wedding this past Fall. He gave such a beautiful speech at Nicole's wedding.
I will always think of him smiling, telling a joke, and chasing the sunrise and sunset on the Cape.
Love to all of you! I hope all of your happy memories of him bring you some peace.
February 26, 2017
Our hearts go out to you Sue as well as the kids. Dave truly was our "Buddy" he provided some memorable moments over the 30 years of weekend visits to the Cape. He will be missed for so many reasons especially how calm he was during Celtic and Patriots games. Steve and Helaine.
